On Saturday 28th September after a sleepover the night before, 80 Beavers & Cubs joined together to take part in a water activities day. This was to work towards the Time On The Water, Nautical and Paddlesports staged activity badges. When they weren’t busy on canoes, kayaks or rafts they were building shelters, making edible rafts and learning about safety equipment for different types of craft. Thankfully the weather was the complete opposite from the weekend before and they all enjoyed some fantastic activities in lovely sunshine. I don’t think there was one Beaver or Cub who wasn’t exhausted but happy when they left
